Because many people associate wool with winter, wearing it in summer may sound counterintuitive. To be honest, if you are staying outdoors for long periods on an extremely hot day, a thin cotton fabric or a cooling synthetic fabric may feel cooler.

However, summer daily life is not spent entirely under direct sunlight. We often move between air-conditioned offices, trains, cafés, and the outdoors, exposing the body to sharp temperature changes.
Merino wool absorbs perspiration as vapor and slowly releases it, offering a natural air-conditioning effect through moisture regulation. This helps reduce the chill caused by sweat and keeps your body feeling more comfortable even in air-conditioned spaces.

However, please avoid using a tumble dryer. Sudden heat and friction can cause shrinkage. After washing, reshape the garment and dry it flat in the shade, or hang it to dry. In most cases, ironing is not necessary.

Above all, merino wool has a naturally powerful odor-resistant property. Even after sweating, it is less likely to develop unpleasant odors, so it does not need to be washed after every single wear. Wearing it a few times before washing can still keep it fresh, which may ultimately reduce laundry effort compared with cotton.
